Heart Risks in Men Due to Blood Pressure Increases
This article talks about having high blood pressure when you are in your middle-aged life. Around 2 million Americans have heart rhythm disorders which increase the chances of a stroke, heart failure and death. Men with their systolic blood pressure in the high normal range are 50% more likely than men with normal blood pressure to develop atrial fibrillation. High-normal blood pressure is known as prehypertension where one would have a systolic reading from 120-139 and a diastolic reading of 80-89. Atrial fibrillation is characterized by irregular rapid heartbeats resulting when the two upper chambers and the two lower chambers are not contracting in sync.
These statistics say that this rhythmic disorder is very dangerous and effect many men and women every day. It is astonishing that anybody could possibly get atrial fibrillation which causes many deaths and heart failures. In my opinion, I believe that humans who continue to have high blood pressure must begin to change their lifestyles to something much healthier so they too can avoid the effects of hypertension.
This affects many people, but most importantly, it affect several different types of people. As an individual, it would affect me because there is a fear and worry of having high blood pressure or prehypertension because that would mean that there is a higher risk of me getting a heart attack or stroke. Professional must worry about this blood pressure problem, because it can affect me if I were to have hypertension or prehypertension.

New Lung Cancer Factors Determined
Irish researchers have found new factors in the chances of lung cancer which they say can treat the disease. In recent studies done in the St.James’s Hospital in Dublin, they discovered the affect that two blood clotting enzymes have on cancer cells. The two enzymes are synthase and thromboxane which promotes the growth of the cells and prostacyclin synthase which slows down the growth. Studies found that the enzymes in lung cancer tissue are samples from about 204 lung cancer patients. Lung cancer is a deadly type of cancer because it does not work with treatments or therapies. This is significant because helps people understand about the mechanisms which control tumour cells in the lungs.
This article is revolutionary for many of reasons. Firstly, it helps explain the effects and functions of lung cancer and what can be confirmed is that lung cancer is one of the harshest cancers because it is tremendously difficult to treat with treatments and therapies. It is very disturbing that these enzymes promote growth of the cells and the other enzymes slow down its growth.
The information in this article should be targeted to those who smoke or suffer from lung cancer. As an individual, this concerns me about the effects and problems of lung cancer, but it is relieving to hear that they have pinpointed the enzyme which controls the tumours in the lungs. In the eyes of a professional, I would also be affected if I was smoker, and it would be a sign of evolution in medicine and therapies. It is interesting that they are able to identify these enzymes and are able to pinpoint and work with the enzymes. This will allow the area of cancer to evolve and be capable of finding a treatment for this deadly cancer.
