This is the Bacteria Antibiotic Resistance Lab we conducted for the evolution unit. This is the photograph of the activity we conducted in class. This activity we did is where we took different kinds of bacteria and tested them in containment to see if resisted against the antibiotics we spread on the containment glasses. This helped the class learn more about the evolution of bacteria and how they can adapt and resist against the antibiotic and continue to thrive. This knowledge we obtained about bacterial resistance allows us to realize that antibiotics should not be taken to help you recover from any illness, and that a natural substitute which involves no antibiotics should be used. This activity also helped understand more about the adaptations of different species and the way they can thrive in many situations.
